I have always believed that “art is for everyone”. This perspective carries over into everything that I do, whether teaching a class, creating a commission, or simply painting from my heart.

The classes and workshops that I teach give me a chance to “give back” to those of you who have always been curious about creating art, but weren’t quite sure where to start. If you are one of those people, rest assured that I create each of my classes and workshops with the beginner in mind. All it takes is a bit of curiosity and enough courage to pick up a paintbrush — or a blowtorch if you decide to explore encaustics.

I love doing commissions, particularly of pets, which I began creating many years ago as a way to bring extra income into my family. As far as commissions go, size is quite literally no limit. If you visit my commissions page you will see that I love to go big!
