Class Description:
Explore color, line, and texture in Winterberries, a mixed media class inspired by the beauty of winter and the luminous look of stained glass.
Working on a 10 x 10 canvas, we’ll use acrylic-based liquid leading to create bold, flowing black lines that divide the composition into organic shapes. Then comes the fun part—filling those spaces with rich pops of color using acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium, allowing the colors to flow beautifully within the design.
The strong black lines paired with jewel-like color give the finished piece a wonderful stained-glass effect, while clusters of winter berries bring warmth and life to the winter palette.
This class is all about experimenting with materials and discovering a different way to “paint.” No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play with color!
You’ll leave with a vibrant 10 x 10 mixed media artwork that feels both wintry and wonderfully modern.
